Carol is survived by her husband Rod of 40 years. Her three awesome children, Tyler, Kelly and Scot, her three beautiful grandchildren Sawyer, Asher, and Rudy, and her siblings Chuck, Pam, and Dave. She is predeceased by her parents Charles Leonard, Elsie Boyd-Leonard, her sister Vicki and her beloved dog, Frankie.
Carol was born on January 31, 1951 in Olympia, she was the second of five children. She graduated from Tumwater High School in 1970. While working at Frederick & Nelson’s she met the love of her life, Rod. They were married on May 3, 1981. It wasn’t long until she was a mother of three, where she found her true purpose. Her family was the most important part of her life.
Carol was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandma. She always put her family first, she took great pride in each of them and their accomplishments. She also loved the outdoors, her pets, gardening and taking care of her home. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing softball and tennis with her friends.
Carol was a hoot, and loved by all. She was lighthearted and always down for a good laugh. She had a kind heart, she was unselfish and giving. Everyone who knew her was infected by her kindness and humor. Her good natured teasing earned her the title "goose-poop” extraordinaire. She had a deep love and devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was taken too soon from us and will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all that knew her. We were so blessed to have her in our lives, there was truly no one like her. Carol will live on in our hearts forever.
