Born on July 16, 1938, in Catano, Puerto Rico, before his family moved stateside at the age of 10.
Catalino was proudly devoted to his country, as he served in the Air Force for 20 years, and continued his commitment by serving as a civil servant for the Fort Lewis Army base for another 20 years. His tireless work ethic and integrity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Beyond work life, family held a sacred place in Catalino's heart, serving as the cornerstone of his life. He cherished his roles as a devoted husband, father, brother, and son. His union with Judy Delgado, a loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter, endured for 42 remarkable years until her passing at St. Peter’s Hospital on September 22, 2022, at the age of 73.
Catalino and Judy will be deeply missed by all their family and friends. Their strengths, kind hearts, infectious laughter, and gentle spirits touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing them both.
A special service will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral home, in Tumwater Washington, for both Catalino and Judy as they are laid in their final resting place together. Please join us as we honor the lives of both Catalino and Judy, a remarkable man and woman whose legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
