Charles William Barlow Charles died peacefully April 9, 2012. He was born February 11, 1916 in Mabton, WA. Charles was the oldest of nine children and grew up during the depression. His family lived in many different places in Washington State, wherever they could find a livelihood. At age 6, Charles recalled his dad and uncle driving a team of horses and a wagon from Outlook to Centralia over Snoqualmie Pass. They camped out along the way and it took them eight days. He served in the Navy during WWII and saw action in the South Pacific. Charles enjoyed traveling with his wife Kay to California and Alaska. He served the Lord all of his life and was a member of the Evergreen Christian Center in Olympia. He was preceded in death by his wife Kay, son Harold and 4 brothers, Freddy, Albert, Virgil and Floyd. He is survived by a daughter, Charlene Hubbert, Son David, 2 brothers, Leonard and Ivan and 2 sisters Irma Kimmel and Edna Lynch. He also had 7 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
