Chuck served in the Army for 20 years. He received 2 Purple Hearts and was a Green Beret during his Army career. After the Army Chuck also enjoyed his time working at C&L Small Engine Repair and for a time he was a Sheriff Deputy in Tucson, Arizona.
Chuck was 83, passed away on May 27, 2020. He died from COPD and Congestive Heart Failure.
One of his greatest joys was riding his quad with his son, Mark, in the area around the county. Chuck loved eagles and his country; he was so proud to be a veteran. He had a heart of gold. One of his favorite things to do was to work in his yard and grow flowers. His yard looked like a park! If there is a garden in Heaven, that’s where he is now, doing what he loves so much.
He is survived by his Wife; Lola, Sons & Daughters, 15 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren with 2 more Great-Grandchildren on the way! Above all, his precious Tea Cup Chihuahua, who was his constant and faithful companion, named Jewel.
He was preceded in death, and greeted in Heaven, by his sisters Lena and Joan and his daughter Wendy Ann Sultrey.
Chuck is dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
