I will never forget Christen's incredible personality and infectious joy. His memory and ability to quote movies and commercials was simply amazing. He had a big imagination! Christen loved all sorts of different characters and playing with toys. He loved music and dancing, too!! Some of my favorite memories with Christen are dancing with him to his favorite songs like the Professor Bug song, Blitzkrieg Bop by The Ramones, Let's Groove by Earth Wind & Fire, Hello by Lionel Richie, Uptown Funk, Rick Astley, and the chicken dance! I will always cherish fond memories spending time with Christen and his dad sitting in the grass on sunny days. Everyone who met Christen was touched deeply by his presence. His family's love and dedication to him made a lasting impression on everyone who worked with them. Christen was such an awesome, fun, and incredible kid and he will forever be loved by so many.

I am so grateful that I had Christen Le as one of my students. Whenever we would greet each other I would say, “Hello, Christen Le!” and he would say, “Hello, Heidi Johnson!” It always made me smile to hear him say my name. I loved watching him dance to his favorite songs, watch his favorite movies and talk about his favorite toys! His enthusiasm is unmatched and his sense of humor is contagious!
One of my earliest and fondest memories of Christen is from a field trip to Lattin’s Cider Mill. After eating cider donuts, we all loaded into their Wagon for a Wagon Ride to see the animals and pumpkins. It was a really rainy day and the covering to the wagon was filled with water. We hit a bump and water poured on Christen’s head. Most people would have been upset but not Christen; he was surprised but smiled and said something funny that made us all laugh together. It was a great day and a great memory. My take away from that experience is that we can have fun, even when we are unexpectedly drenched from the rain.
Heaven has a new angel with a wonderful sense of humor and awesome dance moves. Christen Le will be missed but will forever be remembered.
