June 27, 2003 – September 24, 2026
Christian David Dailey, 23, of Olympia, Washington, passed away on September 24, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and memories that will forever be cherished.
Christian was a young man with a big heart, a big imagination, and an even bigger smile. His laughter, quick wit, and willingness to speak his mind made every conversation memorable. Those who knew him will fondly remember his passionate opinions, and the occasional lecture that seemed to have no end. It was one of the many things that made Christian so special.
Christian loved music, movies, video games, and was a very talented writer, penning both short stories and screenplays. When something captured his interest, he embraced it wholeheartedly. Beneath his humor and strong opinions was a kind, thoughtful, and generous young man who genuinely wanted to help others.
Throughout his life, Christian faced significant medical challenges with strength and determination. Despite these hardships, he dreamed of independence and making his own way in the world. He had recently graduated from South Puget Sound Community College and was accepted into the University of Washington Tacoma, where he hoped to continue his education and pursue his dreams.
Christian is survived by his loving mother, Chelsi Leigh Dailey; his Nana, Teryl Lynn Dailey; his brother, Beckham Coate; his sister, Makenna Coate and his stepfather, Brian Coate.
Although Christian's life was far too short, the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the memories he created will remain with those who knew him. We find comfort in believing that he is finally at peace, free from the hardships he endured.
And while we will miss his laughter, his beautiful smile, and even those wonderfully long lectures, we will forever be grateful for the time we had with him.
Rest peacefully, Christian. You were deeply loved, and you will always be remembered.
