Christopher Michael Heay

Christopher Michael Heay (Chrisser) was born in Olympia, Wash. on Jan. 11, 2000. He was granted his angel wings on April 28, 2017 following a tough battle against cancer. His final days were spent surrounded by loved ones that Chris had touched throughout his memorable life.

He is survived by his Mama Michelle Heay, Dad Shawn Heay, Sissy Hayley Heay, Grandma Dori Nelson, Papa Doug Heay, and Grandma Jerene Heay. He is also survived by many other loving relatives.

Chris's life would seem too short to many, but those who knew him understood that the quality of existence and amount of fun he had far exceeds the quantity of time in which he lived. His beautiful smile could light up an entire room, and his humor could brighten anyone's day. Chris possessed a strength that resembled a warrior. He used that strength to fight for his life each and every day.

Chris's most enjoyed activities included spending as much time with friends as possible, video games, listening to music, and all sports. One sport in particular that stole his heart was football. Chris spent most of his life playing football. His abilities he possessed when it came to this game were out of this world. Chris was kind-hearted, fun, and had a wild spirit. Chris treasured his friends more than any of them know. There are too many to list, but they were all his brothers and sisters.

Before his passing he wished he could tell all of his friends to never set limitations on themselves. If you have it in your heart to try something or experience something, don't ever let fear hold you back. Go for it 100% and never taken an opportunity for granted.

We will miss our sweet boy every second of every day for the rest of our lives.

To honor Christopher, there will be a celebration of life held at Burfoot Park on May 13 at 1 p.m.
