

Clifford was born to Ernie and Rose Hanna of Midale Sask., Canada June 29, 1926. He was predeceased by his first wife, Muriel Hanna (Warner) in 2002, happily married for over 50 years, also predeceased by his three brothers, Tom, Harold & Orville. He is survived by 4 children, Robert, Diane, Cliff Jr. & Patricia including 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his second wife of 11 years Jennie Helena Hanna (McAllister) & extended family.
A celebration of life is scheduled on Sept 14, 2015 1PM at the South Sound Four Square Church, 220 C St. S.W., Tumwater WA 98512. All who knew him are encouraged to attend for he was loved & respected by all he met.
Clifford grew up and attended classes in a one room school house on the Canadian prairies in the small wheat farming town of Midale, Sask with his three brothers. He later enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy at the age of 15 years until it was discovered he was under age, he was promptly discharged. In time, he was able to enlist in the Royal Canadian Air Force where he served his country with honorable results.
Clifford then met and married Muriel in Vancouver, B.C . where their first son was born in 1950, ten months later immigrating to Tumwater WA USA
where three more children were born.
Clifford lived and worked in the Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey and immediate Puget Sound area for more then 50 years, he was employed for most of that time with Overall Laundry Services until his retirement. Clifford and Muriel also had established and operated a hearing aid business in Olympia franchised through Maico Hearing Aids doing house calls and office visits.
Clifford and Muriel enjoyed their retirement traveling in the States and Canada in their fifth wheel trailer, he also enjoyed beachcombing, golfing, fishing and many other outdoor activities, as well as rustic wood carvings treasured by family and friends.
Clifford was very much at home socializing with family, friends and strangers alike, a very uplifting spirit indeed! Always interested and encouraging. A year after Muriel’s passing, he traveled to his hometown of Midale to attend their centennial celebration, where he rekindled a childhood romance with Jennie McAllister. In time, they were married returning to Canada settling in Vernon, BC with Jennie, living a very happy and full life enjoying family, friends and all whom he met.
