Donald C. Brewer, born December 12, 1921 in Alberta, Canada died November 21, 2014, is survived by his wife of 46 years, Twila, the love of his life. A combined family of 8 children now leaves 7 children, 25 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson. His step daughter, Suzie, preceded him in death in 1997.
At age 5 his family moved to Washington. He graduated Olympia High and enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1938 serving for 5 years. At Pearl Harbor his ship fought 3 Japanese Zeros saving at least one life. He and Twila traveled extensively visiting family and friends spreading love and joy where ever they went. He had a great love for the outdoors which he passed on to his family. After losing a leg in 2012, he stayed active mowing and gardening. He died at home and will be missed by all.
