Hi, I was so sorry to hear you have lost you beloved husband. After reading the obit I recalled why I always thought so fondly of you. Red graduated from Billings, Mt. high school. As I did and my parents once lived there. 
We still miss you on Monday mornings, haven't been able to replace our quality control person. 
I always thought you two shared the greatest love story, or at least the way you told it...

I also had the pleasure of working with Red at Meriwood.  There was no finer gentleman.

For the past few hours, I have been enjoying the memories.  I will remember the rounds of golf, the stories, the laughs, and at the end of the day, the famous Hot Toddy.

Red, I will never forget you.

I had the pleasure to work with Don during his 12 years at Hawks Prairie Golf Course and the  distinct joy to play many  rounds of golf with him. A humble and private man, Don could be his own harshest critic.

Several years back I saw him as he came off the 18th and asked how he had played. " Ohh Frank, I can't hit it a lick anymore" he responded. I asked what his score was, and when he told me I said, "Don, that's 3 strokes under your age"! He just shook his head and walked slowly away. It just wasn't up to his standards.

Rest easy Pappy. It has been a true honor to know such a true Gentleman Golfer and American Hero.

I met Don on #8 at Olympia Country and Golf Club many years ago....a wonderful man and friend for many years. I and many others, are lucky we knew him. Don will be missed
