Don graduated from Yelm High School. He was a Navy veteran. He married Jacqueline Opal O’Grady in May 1959. Don was a logger and log truck driver for many years. Don was a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He will be remembered for his love of classic cars, firewood, his sense of humor and his love of family and friends.
Don is survived by his sisters, Dot Kellogg, Joanne Van Beak, Shirley White, his children Mitchell, Mark and Heather, Jack (Scott) and Deb, Stacey and Bambi Cummins; 7 grandchildren Colline, Christine, Zac and Bryan Cummins, Tania and Aaron Blackburn and 5 great-grandchildren Angelina Cummins, Aaron Blackburn, David and Jessica Delacruz and Chance Triot.
Don will have a public Celebration of Life Friday, June 12, 2015, 11:00 am at Mills & Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater, Washington with a reception to follow the service at Don's home.
