On September 8, 2026 Donna Gammel passed at Lacey Post Acute in Lacey, Washington. She was born on September 9, 1935 in Portland, North Dakota to the late Ernest and Alice. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard (Dick) Gammel, sisters Joann, Sonja, and Karyn. She is survived by her son William Jr. (Misty), and Rhonda Hubble, step-daughters, Karen and Carla. Her grandchildren Christopher and Ashley and other, with several great grandchildren.
Donna has lived most of adult life in Washington state in the Yakima and Olympia area where she raised her children. Donna was soft spoken and loved her children and grandchildren immensely, always cheristing their many visits.
Donna worked for 20 years for Labor and Industries prior to her retirement. She loved to watch crime and cooking shows, loved plants and having a small garden area in her retirement. Donna made the best baked beans in the world.
