Dear Pennie, Sandie, Connie, and Dixie: The service for your Mom was beautiful and perfect for Dorothy. As long-time neighbors and friends, we loved Dorothy and admired her amazing strength and determination to live life on her terms. We'll never forget the joy your family gave us when you gathered in Dorothy's home, on her patio, or on the driveway sending out rocking laughter as a family. You reminded us of the lovely times we each had with our mothers in times past. Peace be with you all. Your Mom gave us all much laughter and shared great wisdom. My mother and Dorothy were great friends from girlhood, living nearby each other.  That friendship continued through the years until we moved to Alaska.  Our family of kids and Dorothy's enjoyed playing together when the parents got together and it was at their house one evening that I learned you can have cartoons and run them on your projector at home -- Their father Harry ran about 30 minutes of cartoons for us that evening. Dorothy had a very distinctive  speaking voice that I always admired.  Rest In Peace, Dorothy.

Dear Nana and family,

The Norman family is filled with love and laughter that is everlasting with memories.  I am blessed to have been part of this family as a friend who has shared many memories that will always be in my heart.

Dorothy was a classy lady who always opened her home and heart to everyone.  She had the best sense of humor and was so proud of her family.

Sending my prayers and thoughts to Cork's family.  I remember what a great time Connie and I had at her folks home.  They were always warm and welcoming even when I showed up with my three sons.
