My heart goes out to Carrie, Kevin and her grandchildren. I met Betty through work and we immediately became friends! She loved nothing better than beating me at a game of cards and if she needed to be tricky to do it, well she loved that even more. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin and Carrie and all of Betty's family.  I met Betty one very rainy day when she came for a job interview.  After the interview, my supervisor said, "If you hire that lady, you'll never regret it!"  She got the job and no, I never regretted it!  Betty and I became good friends.  Betty had a special way about her - always a lady, wonderfully caring and kind...and a bit fiesty.  I will miss her.

My condolences to Betty's family.  Although we hadn't seen each other for many years, I have thought of her often.  We were friends from 7th grade through high school.  I am so very sorry for your loss.
