Emily Marie Brewer was carried into the arms of her Savior from her home at the Sequoia on July 30, 2014. She was 98 years old. Emily is survived by her daughters: Janet Cunningham of Ocean Shores, WA, Ellie Grant of Yuma, AZ, Maureen Mowhinney of Ocean Shores, Karen Castillo of Lacey, WA, and her son, Brian O'Donnell of Chimacum, WA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
It was the Lord's tender mercies that covered her and her family during her final days as many loved ones had the opportunity to exchange smiles and words of love with her. Her granddaughter Kate O'Donnell and daughters Ellie and Karen were with her at the end. Emily lived a good, long life, but not long enough for those of us that love her and will miss her so.
A memorial service for Emily will be held on Friday, August 15th at 1:00 pm at the Church of Living Water, Building E-1, in Olympia. For additional information, contact Mills and Mills Funeral Home. Rest in Peace, sweet lady, until we meet again.
