He was born in Oklahoma in 1922.
He and Lucille married shortly after the start of World War 2 and enjoyed 75 years together, almost 74 of them married.
During World War 2 he was assigned to a quartermaster trucking company, a part of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces. After he returned home from the war Lucille and Estell moved to Washington State. He had various construction jobs and in 1961 started his own company building roads and bridges. Many of the roads he built we still use today.
After retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and traveling. They spent part of each year at their condo in Branson, Missouri visiting friends and family and at their cabin in Ilwaco, Washington fishing.
Growing up during the great depression he was mindful of every nut and bolt he could save to be repurposed for future use.
Estell and Lucille had two daughters Dorothy Avery and Barbara Price, four grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He loved his family above all else.
Estell saw several amazing things during his long life and will be greatly missed for his wisdom and humor.
