Faye was born February 17, 1961 to Eleanor Valadez and Israel Martinez Mendoza. She graduated from Boise State University with a degree in culinary arts. Faye loved being a chef and loved cooking and baking for all her family and friends.
Faye was a devoted daughter, sister, God-mother, sister-in-law and friend. She enjoyed nature, hiking, working out, and weight lifting. Some of her most treasured experiences were in Alaska, Hawaii, the beach and traveling with family.
She cared about and had a genuine interest in every person she met, giving unconditional acceptance and love towards others. She lived this through her service to others, including collecting blankets and coats for people experiencing homelessness. She loved Keanu Reeves, her movies, and had an endless collection of both.
Faye is loved, will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for her smile, great laugh, and spirituality.
Services to celebrate Faye's life will be held at Mills & Mills on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00am. Reception following the service.
