Ferne Elizabeth Noggles passed away peacefully this Tuesday morning, March 6, 2012, in Bremerton, where she was lovingly attended by her 2 daughters. She is now reunited with her husband of 68 years, Art, who passed away in August of 2009. Ferne was born in Vivian, SD on September 11, 1922. After the death of her father, Ferne and her mother moved to Longview, WA. Ferne graduated from R.A. Long High School in 1939, and married Arthur Wilson Noggles on July 3rd, 1941. After the war, Ferne, Art and Terry, their first child, moved to Olympia, where they continued to reside for the remainder of their lives. After her retirement from The Department of Labor and Industries, Ferne enjoyed volunteering for a local hospital, bridge, golf and road trips with Art. After his death, Ferne moved from the family home into Bonaventure of Lacey. Ferne is survived by her 3 children, Carol; Ted & spouse Debbie; Terry Westerkamp & spouse Gary, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
