He was born in Oklahoma in 1943. He later moved to Washington as a young child when his family headed west. He later attended school in Shelton, where he would meet his future wife of 41 years, Faye Lee, who preceded him in death in 2006. He was also preceded in death by his infant daughter, Lori Jo, and father, Truman Lee of Shelton
He is survived by his mother, Thelma Lee of Shelton, sister, Shirley Lester of Shelton, brother, Bob Lee of Shelton, son, Frank Lee Jr. of Olympia and daughter, Shannon Easton of Elma.
He spent his life and provided a living for his family working with his hands. In the 70’s, while very young and with a pioneering spirit, he built a log cabin home, from scratch, with and for his family. The same home in which he lived to date. He was a very hard worker, working on projects in his retirement, even up until the time of his death. He was retired from Hardel Mutual Plywood Corp., where he was the chief machinist for the plywood plant for nearly 27 years.
He loved his cars and his motorcycles, spending much of his free time attending the many car shows and swap meets throughout the Pacific Northwest, as well as Reno’s Hot August Nights, which was a favorite destination. Road trips and motorcycle riding with his family also brought him much peace and enjoyment. May the road rise up to meet you and long may you run, Sr.!
