Glen was born on February 28, 1944 in Bremerton, Washington to Ben A. and Mary V. (Armstrong) Miskimens. He graduated from North Thurston High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1964. He was employed by Gig Harbor Albertsons as a meat cutter.
Glen is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marlene, his mother-in-law, Dorothy, and his children: David (Becky), Steven (Carmen), Terry (Rebecca), Glenna (Doug), Gina (Domingo) and Kelley (Shannon), plus their 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sisters Beverly Teeter, and Sheryl Wood, and a brother Ronald Wood (Cindy). He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Wood (Mert).
