Imogene E. Anderson, 91, of Lacey/Tacoma Washington passed away October 12, 2017 in Tacoma, Washington. She was born on July 5, 1926 in Zanesville, Ohio to Albert and Eva Fauley. Imogene is survived by six children and their families; David and Susan, Mark, Gary and Sally, Cindy and Jim, Ron and Dawn, Linda and Andy, her 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and her sister Shirley Kessler. Imogene’s husband of 61 years, Irving Anderson, preceded her passing by 7 years.
Imogene graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a Teaching Degree and immediately took her 1st teaching assignment in Longview, Washington
She later would teach in Olympia, Rochester and Oakville School Districts. She also taught band, choir and gave piano lessons that touched so many lives.
A Memorial Service will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park 5725 Littlerock Road SW Tumwater WA 98512. Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00am
