James M. Giffin, Jr., 63, passed away February 22, 2012 with his family by his side. Jim was born June 15, 1948 in Fresno, California. He joined the US Air Force and was stationed at McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, Washington. Shortly after he met his wife Peggy Goldsby, and they were married for 42 years. They were blessed with 2 sons; Jason and Brett, and 3 grandchildren; Ayden, Zack and Ian.
Jim attended Centralia College and became a forester in Hoodsport when he retired in 2003. He was very active in his short life and joined multiple motorcycle and car clubs. He took his two boys hunting, fishing and camping. Jim also drove school bus for the Rochester School District for five years.
Jim is survived by his brother Will and two sisters; Carole Jensen and Donna Hudson. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
