Born December 3, 1939 to Bill (Billy) Edward Mullins and Luetta Lucille Mullins in Centralia WA.
Passed June 28, 2020 at her home in Olympia, WA
Jeanette came from a large family of 10 kids with 4 sisters and 5 brothers. As a child she lived in Chehalis then moved to Elbe. She spent a lot of time fishing on the Nisqually River next to her house and berry picking in the summers.
Jeanette married the love of her life James Harry Galivan on May 10, 1958 at the Little Church in Chehalis, WA. She has 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Jeanette loved kids and animals. Some of her hobbies were sewing, camping, fishing, gardening, canning and baking. Everyone loved her famous Cinnamon rolls, Cartwheels and Crown Jewel Jello Salad. The ocean was one of her favorite places to be especially with her family. She was one heck of a clam digger. Once she took her pressure cooker on a trip to Alaska so she could can the clams they dug.
Jeanette was a playground attendant at South Bay Elementary when her daughters were young. She was an amazing seamstress making wedding dresses and anything else someone asked for. Once she made dresses for the local church choir. She made many beautiful quilts for family and friends. She handmade many stuffed animals. Jeanette loved to dance and listened to Elvis, Johnny Cash and old country music. She joined the Red Hat Club with her friend and loved spending time with them. Being with family was very important and she kept her family close to her.
Jeanette is survived by and greatly missed by her daughters Kathy, Carol, Diane, grandchildren Amie, Dawn, Steven, 6 great grandchildren, sister Bonnie, brother Jack and many nieces and nephews
