Jennifer was born January 15th, 1961 in Seattle Washington, to Ronald Lee and Marilyn (Gillett) Gage, and was the baby of the family. They moved to Olympia in 1963, where she graduated from Olympia High School in 1979. In 1981 she married Earle Thompson and in 1982 they welcomed their daughter Camillia Mae.
Jennifer spent many years in retail at various places – many former customers still remember her from Pay ‘n Pac, Nordstrom’s Place Two, and Eddie Bauer – and she always remembered them! Jennifer was able to find just the perfect thing for each customer she served, and always found the perfect gifts for her loved ones.
Jennifer loved beauty, created it and surrounded herself with it – in her dress, her home and her life. She would light up a room with her infectious smile and laugh.
Jennifer had many friendships that stretched from her early childhood through her adult life. Those friendships were precious to her. There are so many people that have been touched by her and her graciousness.
The memory of her sweet, beautiful spirit will be cherished.
She is survived by her father Ronald (Elizabeth), daughter Camillia Quisenberry (David) two granddaughters, Astraea and Verona, and sisters Julia (Michael) and Andrea, nieces Suzanne and Marilyn, aunts, uncles and cousins, special friends Jay Owens and Cheryl Strange. She joins her beloved mother Marilyn, brother David and grandparents DeVal and Emma Gillett and Charles and Lula Gage.
Jennifer’s memorial service will be held on Monday, January 21st at 1:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 600 Overhulse Road in Olympia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Children’s Cancer Association, The Union Gospel Mission or The Dougy Center.
