Jerry Ellen Carrigan

nee FRAYER

Jerry was born Dec.5th 1930 in Chandler OK to Charles and Minnie Frayer. She had two brothers: Charles Jr. and Jackson Frayer.

They lived in Chandler until Jerry was 11 years old.

Charles Sr. died in the mid 1930's.

After this her mother remarried and had two more children:John and Nancy Smithson. The family then moved to L.A.CA

Jerry married and has three children:CC Jones,Sena Rippell and Greg Rumage.

She also has eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Her son Greg has fond memories of buying piping hot bear claws with his mom on Sunday morning, after she helped him with his paper route.

After raising her children alone and working in retail sales for 20 years, she

met and married Everett Carrigan.

Both of them frequently said that this was the best thing that ever happened to them.

They spent 23 wonderful years together living in Portland,OR and Yelm,

WA.

Jerry and Everett enjoyed camping, visits to the Oregon Coast, taking care of grandaughter Sophia, and the Capitol WoodCarvers Club.

She was a good cook and a wonderful homemaker.

Jerry spent the last several years in Puget Sound Health Care Center where she made several good friends. Her grandson, Andreas Rumage, along with his wife Sayuri and their two children Anya and Luca, visited her frequently. She looked forward to these visits.

She was fiercely independent and at the same time extremely gentle and caring.

"She was a woman to love" and we all did. She will be missed very much.
