JoAnne Kline

BETTY JOANNE KLINE (JoAnne) passed away on January 23, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1937, to Herman and Pensa Kline in Olympia, Washington. She lived most of her life in Olympia and moved to Baker City, Oregon in the summer of 2021.

JoAnne retired after a thirty-nine-year career with the Department of Employment Security where she was commended for her dependability and her keen sense of humor. She had a deep relationship with God and was always kind and thoughtful. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working puzzles as well as playing piano and music. JoAnne loved the scenery of the Columbia Gorge and the beaches of Hawaii.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Pensa Kline, and her sisters, Stella Digman, Ethel Briggs, Rose Anderson, Aimee Sundberg and her brother Ronald Kline. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held 11:00 a.m. on February 23, 2023 at Mills and Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5725 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, Washington. Refreshments will be served following the service.
