John Ronald Stueve

John Ronald Stueve of Olympia, WA passed away on April 28th, 2023 at the age of 82. He was born on August 25th, in 1940 where he grew up in Beattie Kansas. He was the 3rd oldest of his 5 other siblings: Roseanne Payne, James Stueve, Marilyn Siebenmorgan, Emmett Stueve, and Connie Heinen.

He graduated from Axtell High school in 1958, where he then went to Washburn University in Kansas, and graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After graduating college, he worked as a Budget Analyst for the Washington State Employment Security from 1974-2014.

John was involved in fishing, reading, traveling, crossword puzzles, and simply enjoying the outdoors.

John and his wife, Linda were married on February 4th, 1961 in Axtell Kansas. They have 3 children, Gregory Alan, Daniel Wayne, and Michael Charles Stueve.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Bernard “Cappy” and Anna “Fern” Stueve, grandson Tyler Ryan Stueve, and daughter in law Leah Stueve.

John is survived by his wife: Linda; sons: Greg, Dan (Kelly), and Mike Lori), grandchildren: Kayla, Amber, Melissa, and Danielle; and great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Lily, Olivia, and Harper.

A celebration of life will be followed at a later time this year.
