Johnny was born to Julius P. and Evelyn Johnston on December 15, 1954 in San Francisco, CA. He served in the US Navy and Army National Guard. He was a beloved father who always said "My children are my life". He retired from state service and spent his time with family, enjoying music and the great outdoors.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Rachel, daughters, Aiesa and Leandra. He is also survived by his sisters, Yvonne Henderson, Janice Hughes, and brother Jeffrey (Donna) Johnston; his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and uncle. He was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home on May 4th, at 1:00PM.
