Judie Kathleen (Kathi) Cramer Estes was the oldest child of Arnold and Dorothy Cramer, born in Omak, WA on August 29, 1950. Her father was a Pipe Fitter which required moving, she grew up in Arizona, Alaska and Washington. It fit in with her marriage to Kenneth H (Ken) Estes, as after his retirement, they lived in Edmonds, Monroe, Marysville, Snohomish, Ocean Shores, Montesano and finally, Olympia. She followed without complaint and always created a loving home with every move. She had a nurturing, mentoring nature, full of artistic talent, who loved traveling, and walking with friends. She was quick to volunteer, and had a strong love for Jesus, so with every move, their new church benefited from that character. In Montesano, she was a volunteer of the year at the local Rehab and instructed a fall prevention class for several years. When they retired for the last time, it was a move to a condo where she was elected to the HOA board and became the go-to person and a personal friend to most who lived there. Cancer entered her life in 2021 and though she fought it all the way, it took her life on January 29, 2023. She leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Ken; her Mother, Dorothy Cramer, daughter Tracie Lester; daughter Lynne (Brian) Knowles; Grandsons Blair Field and Christopher (Kayli) Knowles; Great granddaughter Illya Knowles (age 7) who called her MomaKat, Sister, Angi (Kris) Paulsen; brothers Mike (Cheryl) Cramer, Marty (Michelle)Cramer and a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews as well as hundreds of friends—most who have commented on social media-- “she was a sweet, loving friend”. As you can guess she was called to be with Jesus way too soon for her family, but there is no more pain and we know where she safely resides.
