Judith Ellen Albro

Judith (70) was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on July 10, 2010. She was born to Basil and Emma (Garvey) Gillam on July 12, 1939 in Clifton Springs, New York. Judith graduated from Keuka College in 1961; the same year she married William Albro, a young Air Force Officer.

In 1962 she was diagnosed with MS but made the decision that she had MS, MS did not have her. This attitude allowed her to lead the life she loved as an Air Force wife, mother and grandmother. Her incredible faith was a light to all who knew her and a constant source of strength for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Col. (ret.) William A. Albro of Olympia; children Thomas (Tina) Albro of Seattle, and Todd (Deanna) Albro of Vancouver, WA.; grandchildren, Nathanial, Kelsey, Sarah, Nicole and Luke.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday July 16 at. Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW Tumwater, WA. 98512. Visitation will be on Friday July 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society. PO Box 4527 New York, NY 10163.

Judy had an incredible attitude and a good sense of humor, too. I loved her laugh. I miss knowing she is gone but am greatly comforted by her steadfast and abiding relationship with the Lord. With affection, Julia Gonzalez

I have known Judy for 52 years. We had summers jobs ( camp counselors) in England in 1960 at a Holiday House for teenagers. She was so well liked by everyone we encountered, no wonder, as she was very genuine, exuberant, positive and it was always a joy to be in her company. We send our condolences to all the Albros and Gillams. Judy (Wilkes) and Chuck Morgan, Baltimore and Keuka Lake

We would like to extend our love, and sympathy to all of Judy's family. Although distance had separated us, we felt that the "door was always open" through her wonderful, caring emails. We pray that beautiful memories continue her legacy.

We do not have the words to express the glow of life reflected by Judy Albro. We only know that she was a most remarkable human being and that her loving family, through the years, showed unwavering strength. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill and the boys.

I loved our Judy. So giving, loving, kind and caring. And an incredible wit! Now she rests safely and comfortably in Jesus' arms. Yes, Praise God! Sara Palm (Tumwater, Wa.)

Our prayers go out to all the Albro family. Judy was a remarkable lady and I remember her wit when I was a young teenager. She used to make me laugh and was very charming.
Thoughts to all of you....
