Julius Bankuti, 81, of Lacey passed away May 26, 2018. He was born in Budapest, Hungary on Nov. 13, 1936. He was first married to Ellen Korslund in 1962, and together they had three sons: Rich Bankuti, Steve Bankuti, and Ryan Bankuti. Julius later married Roberta Tillson in 1993.
Julius worked in the floor covering industry, and was a shop owner of Southgate Floor Covering. He had a passion for property development, and was a huge sports fan.
He is survived by his sons Rich, Steve, and Ryan Bankuti; grandchildren Stephanie Bankuti, Natalie Bankuti, and Zach Bankuti; wife Roberta; and brother Atila Bankuti.
