Katherine Young

Katherine W. Young, age 86 of Olympia, Wa., passed away on Aug. 3rd, 2017. Kathy was born on July 19th, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa to Frank and Helen Chittenden, when she was a teenager she came to Ilwaco, Wa. on a train and fell in love with the area where she permanently moved to.

Kathy is survived by 3 children, Michael K. Wilson of Ilwaco, David P. Wilson of Tenino, and Cynthia L. Wilson of Puyallup, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Kathy is also survived by 4 brothers: Eldon, Bill, Raymond, and Art Chittenden all of Iowa, 4 sisters: Aileen, Dorothy, Nancy and Sue as well as many nieces and nephews all of the Midwest.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Helen Chittenden, husband, William R Young, brother LaVerne Chittenden, and great grandson Brian Ray Wilson.

There will be a graveside service for Kathy at Claquato Cemetery, 142 Stearns Road, Chehalis, WA 98532 , on Aug. 17th, 2017 at 11am.
