Lane Thomas Carrothers, of Littlerock Washington, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning of September 22, 2025. He was born on February 23, 1950, to parents Alfred Carrothers and Connie Goddard in Seattle, Washington. Lane was one of six children in the family.
At the age of 17, Lane was enlisted in the US Army and deployed to serve his country in Vietnam. Lane was proud to have been a member of the 101st Airborne. He was also awarded the Purple Heart and Silver Star for bravery while serving in the A Shau valley.
After his service in the Army, Lane was married three times and became a father to two children: Amy and Jeremy. When not working, in his own time Lane enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Lane is preceded in death by: his mother and father; sisters Toni and Terri; brother Ed; and previous wives Charlotte and Sharon.
He is survived by: brothers Tim and Larry; children Amy and Jeremy; step-father Fred; and numerous grand children and great grandchildren.
Lane will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery on Tuesday October 7th . Lane was a one of a kind man with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him!
