Larry George Enlow

Larry was born on May 15, 1943 to George Washington Enlow and Lorraine Phelps in Chehalis, Wa. Larry was raised in PeEll, Wa by his grandparents, Josea Earl Phelps and Lola Belle Phelps in addition to their own 11 children. Larry had 2 siblings from his father: George and Sonja. He had 5 siblings from his mother: Cheryl, Daryl, Marlin, Brenda and Rita.

Larry attended school in PeEll. He worked in the logging industry for various companies from a young age until he retired from Mayr Brothers. He was known to be a very skilled shovel operator.

Larry loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, trapping, clam digging, raising poultry and planting fruit trees.

Larry married Elaine Bange in 1968. They resided in Raymond, Wa where they built a house and had 3 children: Brady (1971), Briana (1973) and Brent (1977). He loved to share his interests and hobbies with his children and son-in-law, Phil.

Larry became Papa to 7 grandchildren: Jayce (1998), Karlee (2000), Jaxson (2003), Alia (2004), Karsyn (2006), Macey (2009) and Kamryn (2010). He enjoyed babysitting, spoiling them with trips to the DQ and attending their sporting events. His family was the most important thing to him.

Larry passed on December 10, 2023 at age 80. We will love and miss him every day. He was a very giving and selfless dad, papa and friend. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at New Harvest Assembly of God located at 134 Mauerman Rd., PeEll, Wa. The celebration will be on January 13 at 1:00 PM.
