Grandma Dolly will always remain an amazing influence in my life. She led me to The Lord and I will never forget the day I knelt down at her couch and her explaining salvation to me. I was so blessed to actually be in church with her and listen to her sweet specials. I loved sitting in the front pew working with the sound system and trying to hold back tears. I miss her but I have complete confidence she is in heaven and in the presence of MY LORD!

I couldn't have been more blessed with a better grandma.  She was the perfect example of a strong woman who dealt with every difficult situation with grace and a smile.  Her love for the Lord was evident in her daily life.  What a beautiful testimony she was.  Every smile, every laugh, every talk we had, every moment shared and every tear that was shed will live in my heart forever.  She's not gone, this is just a brief separation, I know I will see my beautiful grandma again.  I love you!

A phone call, a letter, a visit; I loved them all.  I still have letters from her filled with joy and love.  That's how I'll remember my Grandma: filled with joy and love.  I love you, Grandma.  Always.

I was blessed to have met Dolly when I was 16 years old through her daughter Debbie where we attend church together.  Dolly instantly treated me like a member of her family and I even got to the point of feeling like she was my second mom.  I was blessed to have known Dolly and will always remember her infectious smile, laughter and her devotion to her Lord and Savior.


The LORD in HIS infinite wisdom blessed me along with my siblings with the most perfect Mother.  Mom has always been there for us in every way.  I treasure every moment and memory.  To know the love of such a special Mother is a true blessing and I will cherish her forever and can't wait to see her again in heaven.

The most important thing to me right now is to simply say, Mom, I Love You.  All those times you asked me to call you more often ring loud in my ears.  And, every time we did talk on the phone it was so special to hear your voice.  We talked about so many things which more often than not had us both laughing.  I have friends who are truly envious of the love this family has for each other.  Everyone of us can point to you and say that is where it comes from.

So many fond memories of Dolly.  I was so blessed to be part of her family, and the blessings continue on.  She accepted me as a teenager over 45 years ago, with all my faults, and I will always be thankful for her love, which I know came from God.

Grandma such a special lady. You were such an inspiration to all of us. Some of my fondest memories is you teaching us games that you and grandpa learned in your motor home travels. All the different variations of dominoes, didn't know they all existed to you showed us. And your love for playing Scrabble. You definitely love to get the family together to play a good game of Scrabble. I remember having the dictionary out to dispute some of those crazy words. I know you are in a better place shining down on each of us. I love you your grand daughter Lori

What I will remember most and always treasure in my heart about my mother is her love and concern for her family and for everyone she was acquainted with.  My mother always had open arms, and understanding heart.  She would listen carefully and give us words of wisdom.  My mother made it known she loved Jesus and was following in His Path of Righteousness.  Love your daughter Susan

Such a precious woman, she was everything a Christian should be.

One of the sweetest women I've ever known. You're in heaven rejoicing with the Lord. You're also probably having a great visit with my Mom and Dad, plus many more brother's and sisters.  We'll meet again. Love you and your wonderful family dearly.

Many fond memories of the Swans, the laughter, the fun of get to gathers at their home, church potlucks, especially Sister Dolly teaching all our children in Sunday school, the ladies sowing Circle day. The most wonderful day when we all meet again in Gods Heavenly Kingdom. Thank you Jesus for memories of them both!! With love Your Brother and Sister in Christ Don and Jen Deckert!

I am so glad I finally got to see you after 50 some years, Aunt Dolly. Tho we didn't know each other that well, you took me right into your arms as tho we had seen each other the other day.  I will miss you and I love you Aunt Dolly. Tell mom I love her and miss her too.

Mama, I Praise The Lord that HE Blessed me with such a Giving, Always Loving, Happy & Positive mother.  I know you are up in Heaven Singing with the angels Praising The Lord. One day I will see you again, I will Always Remember and try to be more and more like you.  Thank You for All The Wonderful Memories and Love. *Hugs*
