Linda is survived by her husband, Cliff Lazelle; sons Jeremy of Woodsboro, MD; Jack of Salem, OR; Chris (Mary) of Tacoma, WA; daughter Kelly (Rick) of Dodge City, KS, and four grandsons who were the delight of her life. She always looked forward to spending time with them. Linda was preceded in death by father and mother Jack and Nellie Hymer; sister Leanna Perry and brother Charlie Hymer.
Linda graduated from Condon High School in Oregon in 1970 and then attended Centralia College in Washington. She earned her Certificate of Completion/Legal Studies in 1991. Cliff and Linda were married March 15, 1986 at the Rainier Chapel. She was a Legal Sectetary and retired May 1, 2007 after serving 26 year in the Washington State Attorney General's Office.
What took up most of Linda's time was the different ministries she was involved in over the years. She served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, an Awana leader, supported Young Life, and taught Vacation Bible School each summer. After retirement Linda volunteered at Care Net/Options. She went through their counseling training so that she could talk to the young women, not just to explain options other than abortion, but to share the Gospel to lead them to Jesus. She would have Bible study with anyone that was interested. She also volunteered for Stonecroft Women's Ministry and served on the board.
Linda also enjoyed working in her flower gardens, especially her dahlias. She always looked forward to spending time with friends and family for whatever: a chat, dinner, dinner and playing games, just playing a game or even watching a football game. Shen enjoyed traveling around the country to see friends and family. Linda had a tenacious spirit and with her delightful smile she was always willing to jump in to help others in anyway she could.
Memorial services will be held at the Rainier Sportman's Club, Rainier, Washington, on February 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM followed by a reception. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.millsandmillsfunerals.com for the Lazelle family.
