MAY 13, 1961 – JULY 31, 2019
Lisa Renee Bausch was born in Centralia, Washington, to Mel and Shirley Stone on May 13, 1961. The family resided in Maytown, Washington where Lisa attended Littlerock Grade School and then graduated from Tenino High School in 1979.
Lisa met her husband, Keith, through mutual friends at the age of 15, and after their first date the two were inseparable. They were married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1981, in Olympia, Washington, where they set up residency and soon had two sons, Jeremy and Nicholas.
Her 37-year career at the Washington State Supreme Court began in 1979 where Lisa was hired as a file clerk. She was an exceptional employee who moved up quickly and ultimately acquired the position of office/case manager in 2005. Lisa worked with many justices over the length of her career and was well liked and respected by her peers.
Following a two-year battle with cancer, our beloved Lisa passed peacefully at home where she wanted to be with her family; her two cats, Frankie and Smokie; and her two little dogs, Kuma and Mollie. Lisa is survived by her husband of 38 years, Keith; her son Jeremy and his wife, Kati; her son Nicholas; her mother, Shirley; her father, Mel, and his wife, Marilyn; her sister Julie and her husband, Scott; her sister Laura and her husband, Rob; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Lisa’s life was filled with love, laughter, family, and friends. She loved camping and graduated to “glamping” when she got her house on wheels. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
To the world you may be one person,
but to one person you may be the world.
