Margarett Ritter.
At the age of two the family moved to Rainier Washington. Juanita spent the remainder of her
years in her beloved hometown.
Juanita married the love of her life Ward Baldwin on March 31, 1949, they were happily married
just short of 60 years. They were blessed with three children, Alberta Bressan, (Brian), Donald
Baldwin, (Cathy), June Ledgerwood, (Jerry). All who reside in Rainier, Washington.
Juanita was a Mother, Foster Mother, Den Mother, and lover of children, caring for many.
Juanita was a special “Auntie” or “Grandma” to many.
Juanita worked on the election board for many years, She was very proud of an award she
received for voting in every election since the age of 21.
Country and Gospel music were her favorite! You could hear her singing regularly.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, attending services at the Yelm Church of Christ in
latter years.
Sadly Juanita passed away on November 11, 2021. She was processed in death by her
husband Ward, and her siblings Calvin Ritter, Deleane Thompson, Arthur Junior Ritter, and
Glendia Lazelle.
Survived by her children, 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great
grandchildren. Also numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A reception is scheduled from 11:00-12:00. Visitation from 12:00-1:00pm, Funeral service
1:00-2:00pm at Mills and Mills 5725 Little Rock Road SW Tumwater WA.. 2:30pm Graveside
service. at Odd Fellow Cemetery 3802 Cleveland Ave. SE Tumwater WA.
