Lucille Anne LaPalm, a resident of Olympia, WA for 55 years, passed away at Providence St. Peter Hospital on April 14, 2018. She was 83 years of age. I'm sorry Lucille has left us. She and I were friend's for over 20 years. We met as Nurse Consultants at L&I. We covered each others case loads when needed for years. There were projects we worked on together, and when Lucille retired a few years ahead of me, she persuaded me to follow
up in her footsteps on the labor/management committee. She liked to check up on how well I was doing on that group! We were always lunch buddies and as each of us retired we formed a new lunch group & met every week to eat & share the latest news. Lucille always had sports news from her favorite Gonzaga teams or the Mariners . We talked on the phone several times a week about everything, even politics! I miss our phone calls so much. I miss Lucille. God Bless you all .
