Madge was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, George Ames and two grandchildren Greg and Erin. She is survived by her four children, Ken, Wes, Bill, and Andy. As well as her seven Grandchildren, fourteen Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild.
Madge was born and lived in the Olympia area all her life, married on May 1st 1947, to George R. Ames. They bought land and together with their four sons cleared the land and farmed it. Years later they planted the land with Christmas Trees.
All through Madge's life she enjoyed square dancing, traveling, camping, growing flowers, fishing, hunting, canning fruits and vegetables, and cooking for everyone. She also loved the working part of her life as a manager for a major department store, selling real estate, and of course the family Christmas Tree farm.
She is in our hearts and will be truly missed.
