Margaret Theresa Watkins Passed away March 29th 2016 at 12:08 am in her home in Lacey, Washington. She succumbed to complications due to COPD. She was 81 years old. Margaret Watkins was the youngest child of William Melburn Simpson and Margaret Ann Nagengast. She had four brothers; William Simpson, Eugene Simpson, Ralph Simpson and Howard Simpson. Margaret is survived by her husband Harold R. Watkins; her sons Timothy L. Cody and Glenn A. Cody; her step children Vincent Watkins, Teri Buchowski, Christopher Watkins, Howell Watkins, and Jennifer “Regina” Edwards. Margaret Watkins also has 6 grandchildren, 16 great grand children and 2 great-great grandchildren. Margaret previously resided in Harker Heights Texas moving to Lacey Washington in March of 2014. She was a long standing member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Services will be Thursday April 7th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 9341 4th Ave. NE Olympia Washington 98516. Viewing will begin at 9:00am, service at 10:00am. Grave side services will be at 1:15 at the Tahoma Veterans’ cemetery in Kent.
