Margaret E Will

Marge was born in Yakima, Washington on August 24th, 1924 to parents George and Annie Anderson. She had three older brothers; Les, Don and Bob. The family settled in Silverton, Oregon when she was 5 years old. After graduating from High School she moved to Seattle where she worked for The Boeing company during WWII. It was there that she met and fell in love with Donald Will. They were married on April 11th, 1945. Together they made their home in the White Center/Highland Park area of Seattle.

After raising two children, Jan and Jim, she worked with Don in their own business, Gold Star Laundry for many years. Once the business was sold she and Don teamed up and worked as Merchandisers, setting up new stores on the west coast for Pay n Pak, including Alaska and Hawaii.

In 1980 Marge and Don moved to the Scott Lake area of Olympia, Wa. After retiring in 1983 Marge became active in the Scott Lake Ladies Golf Club where she was an avid golfer. She enjoyed RVing, fishing and was a member of the demo line dance team with the ECDO’s. She and Don would perform with the team at fairs in Thurston county.

Her biggest joy was seeing her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. The great grandchildren brought her special joy. She was also a member of the Littlerock United Methodist Church.

Marge is survived by her husband, Don, daughter, Jan (Ron) Bates of Olympia, son, Jim (Penny) Will of Bellingham, grandson, Scott Bates of Los Angeles, CA, granddaughter, Misty (Cory) Carlyle, great granddaughter, Laurelea, great grandson, Will, of Rockwall, TX, granddaughter, Karli (Jason) Goetz, great grandson, Talan Goetz of Black Diamond, WA, great granddaughter, Jackie Treat of Portland, OR, and great grandson, Jacob Treat of Moses Lake, WA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd SW, Tumwater, WA on Friday, April 7th, 2017 at 1pm. Memorial Donations can be made to Littlerock United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Littlerock, WA 98556-0008.
