She was born October 18, 1946, in Prescott, AZ to Ralph and Amalia Rodarte. She grew up in Prescott with her 9 siblings. Here, she met her husband, Kurt Malizio (the boy next door) before moving to Washington in the 1970’s. They were married for 44 wonderful years.
Margo was a consummate educator and worked at Washington Middle School for 26 years. She co-taught zero-hour math and after school homework club. She was always committed to helping her students succeed.
She will be missed by her husband, four children, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren as well as by her mother, sisters and brother.
A celebration of her life will be held: on January 26th at 1:00 pm at Mills & Mills Funeral Home in Olympia, Washington. All those that she touched are welcome to attend. Please wear bright colors (no black).
