Marian was born in Morton Washington on June 16, 1941. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Marian Riley, her mother, Frieda Edna Gregersen, and her loving husband of forty three years, Hubert Earl Heatherly.
She is survived by her children Denise Lynn Kelley, Michael William Kelley, Cynthia Jane Henderson, Brian Scott Hasbrook, Alexander William Kelley-Heatherly and stepdaughter Tracey Heatherly, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Known as Nana to her grandkids and great grandkids she always loved to make others smile, often playing practical jokes including an infamous “fly in an ice cube” she would stick in an unsuspecting persons drink. Nana always had cookies in her jar and a warm smile on her face when you came to her house. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed sharing her passion with her family. She spent many years as a local jail Chaplin sharing her strong faith with anyone that would lend her an ear. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son. That whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but will have everlasting life.”
Nana always did her best to make those around her happy and feel loved. She will be greatly missed by all of us left behind, but we know this isn’t “goodbye” but simply a “see you later”.
