Marilyn Diane (Lakeburg) Stocker passed away peacefully June 13, 2014 at her home of sixty years. She was born April 7, 1932 in Shelton, Washington to Harold E. Lakeburg and Mildred Dodge (Harkness) Lakeburg. After graduating from Irene S. Reed High School in 1950, she moved to Seattle where she worked as a sales clerk and attended classes at the University of Washington. Moving to Olympia, she worked for the Department of Revenue where she met her future husband of sixty years, John Willard Stocker. They were married December 26, 1953. She enjoyed watching and listening to sports, particularly baseball. She enjoyed weekly visits from her daughter and time spent with her grand-children. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, who also passed away at home on April 16, 2014. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Jo (Lakeburg) Wright; son and daughter-in-law, David and Joanne Stocker; four grand-children; and a daughter, Debra Stocker. A graveside ceremony for both John and Marilyn will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday June 21, 2014, at Mills & Mills Memorial Park in Tumwater, WA
