Marita Vernice Albert, age 88 passed away late Tuesday night September 3, 2013 at the NorFlor Adult Family home in Lacey, Washington. She was born on February 28th, 1925 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Charles and Edna (Alberts) McGlocklin. In 1962 Marita professed to live as a child of God. All with whom she met in fellowship meetings and those who knew her, loved, respected, and appreciated her. Marita graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1942 and Kinman Business University in Spokane in 1944. She worked in the Bonners Ferry Bank until she married Russell Albert in 1945. They made their home in Spokane and Olympia Washington. She resided at NorFlor Adult Family Home for the last four months of her life where she was loved and cared for by a staff of very caring caregivers. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will leave a void in all of our lives. Marita is survived by her husband Russell Albert of Olympia, daughter and son-in-law Marsha and Bruce Cameron of Kennewick,Wa, son and daughter-in-law Ken and Micky Albert of Olympia, grandaughters Michelle Minton-Valley (Cameron) of Kennewick, Jonny Minton of Kennewick, Corina Burger (Derek) of Chehalis,and Margot Albert of Bellingham. She is also survived by great grandaughters Mackenzie and Peyton Minton-Valley of Kennewick, great grandaughter Sophia Ullman and great grandson Benjamin Ullman of Kennewick,and great grandson Gabriel Burger and great grandaughter Mirabel Burger of Chehalis . She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Last but not least, her faithful companion Missy Dog who was by her side until the end. She was preceeded in death by her mother, father and five siblings. Instead of flowers, donations made to the Parkinsons Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Services will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW. Tumwater, WA. Visitation will be Thursday Sept. 12, 2013 5-8pm followed by Funeral services at 1pm Friday Sept. 13, 2013 concluded by graveside services.
