She was born in Klein, MT, on December 3, 1928. She was married to John Milligan on June 9, 1950.
After graduating from Billings High School in 1946, Marge went on to receive a degree in physical education from Montana State University. She and John moved to Washington State where she worked as a teacher in Seattle and Olympia. In retirement, Marge remained active as a fitness instructor, as well as serving as a Master Gardener and Olympia Public Library book sale volunteer. She enjoyed square dancing, yoga, choral singing, gardening, sewing, and traveling. She will be remembered for her sweet nature, boundless energy, and deep commitment to her family.
She is survived by her children, Laura Milligan of Tumwater, WA; John M. Milligan of Bothell, WA; and Linda Frederiksen of Vancouver, WA; as well as five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings.
There will be a private memorial service for family only.
