In 1951, Marge graduated from catholic high school. During that same year, she married the love of her life, Ernest V. Sage Jr. September 29, 1951 in Topeka, Kansas. Marge was happiest when the family all together for a holiday or summer barbeques. She enjoyed cooking for the family and asking everyone to bring side dishes. She loved having everyone around with the grandkids running around. Marge had a green thumb and loved to grow flowers, even when she moved and only had a small patio. She had hanging baskets and pots of flowers. Marge always had dogs and cats, which gave her a great amount of joy. Although, she didn’t have a pet for the last four years because she didn’t think she could properly care for them, she had memories of the ones she loved and took care of. She believed in God and knew that she would see all those who passed on before her. It gives her family solace to know that her and Dad are reunited.
