Marvin G. Wade was born November 2, 1933 in Kelso, Washington to Herbert James and Myrtle Eva Wade. He worked for Weyerhauser for many years. In 1972, he moved the entire family to Magic Valley in Southern Idaho. He and his family raised corn for Green Giant, barley for Coors and 300 head of registered Polled Shorthorn Cattle. In 1980, Marvin and his family returned to the Pacific Northwest. He worked for Puget Sound Truck Lines until he retired in 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Jean A. Wade; three daughters: Victoria, Kaila, and Michelle; and four grandchildren. He was a man of strong faith and honor. He loved music, had a beautiful tenor voice, and above all of these attributes was a loving father and husband of 59 years. He passed away peacefully in his home with his family around him. Anyone who knew Marvin was better off because of it.
