There are no words that can express my deep sorrow for your loss. You both are in my heart and prayers. 
Michael was a wonder person. I loved his beaming smile and cheerful spirit. I always looked forward to seeing his smiling face at work, he could brighten my day with just a few words. In the short time I knew him, he left an everlasting impression on me.

wish I had knew your going home celebration was today, I grieve for the fact that you had touched my spirit in such a way... I met you only once during the Northwest Network Q&A... your appearance seemed so graceful not to mention attractive, but it was the way you were so professional and attentive to every little thing and just making sure that all was well prepared and in place, you made sure the coffee was hot, if there were enough pastries..etc.. omg!! I could go on for the two days on that conference. but those things, I took noticed and it inspired me so much as to be such as you in making sure that even in the littlest things you noticed and made sure such is well taken cared of.. that? I took noticed and have told my self "Michael Henson" has inspired me.. I did introduced myself and we shook hands. but grieved that with such inspiration I wish I had gotten to know you more. fly with angels beautiful!!! fly with angels... much aloha in you memories!!! my deepest condolences to your beautiful loving family.. my prayers of comfort and hope your beautiful memories becomes the filler and healing for such void and early departure. You all will meet again and my prayers of comfort to the love of your heart and companion.. I shed a tear in such for to love someone and then the depart is so so much to bear.. I can't articulate the ways my life is better for having experienced the beauty that is Michael Henson.  Too few people embody goodness, mindfulness, and love the way that he did.  It was a privilege to learn alongside him during his years at PLU and an honor to have remained in the circle of his light.  My sense is that the world will indeed be brighter with his passing as those of us who were touched by him redouble our efforts to carry his love and light forward in our own lives.  My thoughts and prayers remain with his family and all those in his vast community.

Michael, I am so glad to have met you. You obviously meant so much to all these people and in the short time I knew you you surely touched my life as well. With love, JOY

What a bright light you are...and I know you will be missed.  I can't fathom the loss of five of my siblings...or even the sudden loss of a single spouse, child, coworker or dear friend.  May all of you loved ones feel supported, held and nurtured through this time of profound grief.

Michael leaving this earth has caused the world to be a far less bright place.  He was sunshine wherever he went.  He will always be a part of my heart.

There are no words to express how much Michael was loved. A truly fantastic man has been lost. Mike touched the lives of everyone he met with his big smile and sunshiny attitude. We will all miss him dearly.
